Nansen grows in Stockholm

During the late summer, Nansen's Stockholm office has grown with five new employees. First to start was Sussi Zällh who is an interaction designer with a background from working at Gimlet, InUse and Mogul. In September, Martin Söderlund, Robert Andersson will be joining us, both .NET and EPiServer developers, "formerly" with Hallvarsson & Halvarsson. In October there will be another. NET and EPiServer developer and a new project manager.

Nansen succeeds with .Net 4 beta exam

Six developers and architects at Nansen have already passed the new certification for .Net 4. This fall, all developers will attend the new certification program that we've developed together with AddSkills to reach the final goal of becoming Microsoft Certified Professional Developers on .Net 4.

Recently, two new employees started at Nansen. Andreas Oldeskog started Maj 1 and Robert Persson on June 1. Both web developers focusing on .NET. At Nansen they will be working with EPiServer projects.

Certified Scrum Master

Nansen continues to get certified! First out as a Certified Scrum Master is Jenny Rosander Ney who completed the course and took the test in March. Pretty soon, a few more employees can title themselves Scrum Masters and Nansen will truly start to implement the framework as a part of the daily work.

Pricer, Tasteline and Naturvetarna are three new EPiServer customers of Nansen. In the short term, we will be providing our help with administrative matters and smaller development efforts. In the long run we will hopefully have the opportunity to contribute in new projects with everything from strategy, concept and development.

Nansen opens Chicago office

We are very pleased and proud to announce that Nansen will be opening an office in Chicago on January 1st 2010. EPiServer opened its first office in the U.S. last spring and it feels fantastic to be part of their journey, and sell EPiServer in a new country and build skills in a different location.

Two new co-workers

It has been a secret for a while but now it’s official. Nansen hires Emil Cardell, previously employed at Valtech, and Jenny Ney from Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

Emil has a long experience of EPiServer Community and will be working as a technical production manager and systems architect at Nansen.

Jenny will work as an account executive and with strategy and business development on the web.

Nansen becomes EPiServer MVP

Once again, more certifications have been taken at Nansen. This time around Rudde, Markus and Cecilia passed the ASP.NET 3.5 Web Developer exam. This means that all developers at Nansen are now certified on the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Nansen is growing even more! On May 1 Cecilia von Wachenfeldt will start working at Nansen. Cecilia has been studying web development focusing on the .NET Framework at Nackademin and has been working at Nansen as a trainee. She has already contributed in several projects with very good results and will work with development in EPiServer and. Net.

Kalle Paulsson begins at Nansen

As of April, Nansen will have seventeen employees. The latest addition to Skeppsbron is Kalle Paulsson. Kalle has worked with Internet development since 1994 and most recently at Albert Ken.

Kalle’s duties will be in interaction design and usability. Our customers will also be able to take advantage of Kalle’s knowledge when they want help and advice on how they can obtain an improved internet presence. This recruitment will increase Nansen’s expertise in business and strategy development for new media.

Sara and Emma mastered the first .NET exam which means that all developers and architects at Nansen now are certified on the .NET Framework. The goal for 2009 is that all should reach the level Microsoft Certified Professional Developer on ASP.NET 3.5 and be certified EPiServer developers. The purpose of certification and the skills that are connected with these is that we work in a similar way, choosing the right architecture and becoming more effective in our projects.

This month Kalle, Joel and Jonas passed Exam 70-536: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework, Application Development Foundation. The exam is the first out of three on the .NET Framework that Nansen's employees will undertake within the collaboration with Addskills. Congratulations, to Kalle, Joel and Jonas!

Nansen has recruited Martin Lenngren. Martin is an experienced interface developer with 10 years in the trade. Martin’s latest employer is Nordnet and he’s formerly worked at Framfab and EF.

Martin will be Nansen’s fifteenth employee and the first recruitment in our ongoing recruiting campaign.

This means that we now have expertise in data warehousing and decision support on the Microsoft platform.
